The Real Battle

Often as Coaches we, like you, are constantly trying to keep up with information. Movements, standards, nutrition, do’s and don’ts. In this world of Fitness there are as many opinions on things as there are people in the room. “Bend at the knees” “Bend at the Hips”, “Wear a belt” “Don’t wear a belt”, “make contact” “avoid contact”. Often time just schools of thought. Old school and New school…and Newer school still. We know it can become confusing, heck it can confuse the best of them. Some Coaches live for mobility, some Coaches will do it for 5 mins. Is either “wrong”? No. Is the Coach who likes bar contact “wrong” where another may not like it? No. The point being, this is a vast, vast world of Fitness, soaking it all in and taking the good while leaving the bad is all a part of what we do, it’s what makes CrossFit great….I’m going to let this video finish it up…in 3 mins it says it all and reminds us where the real battle lay.
