image_11533-1Have you ever considered kicking your coffee habit…?  Me either!!!  Coffee has been a morning, and sometimes throughout the day, ritual of mine going on 15+ years now.  I am not sure if it is the taste, consistency, comfort it provides, or the pick-me-up that keeps me coming back for more, day after day.

It has supposed health benefits to it that are highly touted throughout the health and wellness community (increased alertness, lower chance of Parkinson’s disease & kidney stones, increased energy & focus, etc…)  but also has its negative effects as well (Increases stress hormone production, decreases mineral absorption, increased acid reflux, causes ulcers, and contains carcinogens)

I know you may be a little bit skeptical of making the switch or even giving something new a try, but what if I told you there was something very similar in taste and consistency, took far less time and effort to make, is much cheaper (esp if you make it yourself), and has a host of health benefits, would you give it a try then?
