During the Summer months, the first word that usually comes to mind is “relaxation”, but in many of our worlds, that is hardly the case.  Yard work, house work, road trips, camping, boating, beach trips, golf games, tennis, jogging, hikes, chasing the little ones around, etc…all of which take their toll on our physical wellbeing.  Whatever it may be, any given Summer day can certainly expose how ready or not we really are for any random physical task.  This is why we CrossFit!

Every movement, skill, and drill that you perform at the box has a purpose.  That purpose is to acquire the fundamentals of basic human movement, as well as increasing your level of fitness to the point that you are physically prepared for anything and everything life throws your way.  We call it the carry over effect, and…It’s why we CrossFit!

With Summer in full force, it is easy to lose sight of your goals, visions, and dreams of being a more healthy and fit individual.   Don’t let it!  You’ve worked endlessly to get to the point you are at now, and nobody can take that away from you…except you!

Be ready when others are not.  Be able to help when others can’t.  Be an inspiration to others.  Be the person everyone else wishes to be…It’s why we CrossFit.
