Well, it’s happened. September has come, School busses are on the roads, kids are in School and we begin the switch over. So although (thank Mother Nature) the weather and temps seem to be holding on strong we are starting to think about Fall and whats to come, hopefully the Summer was amazing and we all got to do and travel and be the active beings we are. Hopefully as you were out and active you were able to do things that in your life prior to CrossFit you may have been unable, unwilling, or maybe just not as easy as you could now. I received a text recently from a member that said:

“Thanks to CF I was able to crank up my Pop Up Camper all by myself! I couldnt even get it to budge last year. Thanks!”

…and thats why we do what we do. What we do in here is to better our lives out there, how we apply ourselves to our GPP will directly result in a better physical and more confident self. Hiking is easier, so you may choose to hike more. Playing stick and ball sports is less taxing, so you may be more apt to join in. Chores, yard work, all become easier to accomplish physically, so mentally they become easier to want to get done. So lets look back on the Summer, did you notice a change this season? Were you more active, were the activities more fun? Were you more incline to choose something physical as opposed to something more sedentary? Now let’s look forward and build on the positives…

With Fall approaching it’s time to set some goals, make a routine, prioritize and follow through. Lots of great things coming up this Season and we really want to start working outside our comfort zones. So lets look hard at the things we want to accomplish and really try to not simply fit our Health into our busy schedules, but rather fit our schedules around our Health and see what comes of it. A stronger, healthier, happier, more focused, more active you is better for everyone you touch. They will thank you for it, but more importantly you will thank you for it. Here’s to Fall and setting and crushing some Goals.

(P.S. Don’t sit and wait for the Nutritional Challenge to get you on track. Start now, this next meal and begin training for it, so when it comes it will be easy, and you won’t look to it as a challenge but a way of life you already live.)
