We have been hearing about sugar our entire lives….and maybe thats the problem.

We are at a point now after having generations grow up with sugar in virtually every meal, that we cannot begin to wrap our heads around what it has done to our society. It reacts in the brain nearly identical to Cocaine, we become addicted, overweight and the health issues follow.

“The Centers for Disease Control project a double- or triple-fold increase in the proportions of Americans with diabetes by 2050. On the low end, a study published in Population Health Metrics projects 21% of Americans will have diabetes. On the high end … 33%.”

A movie has just launched called “Fed Up” and it takes on Sugar in a light and from an angle we have yet to be exposed to. The Lobbying, the addiction, of the 600,000 products on the shelves 480,000 of them have sugar added to it. It asks the question can we go back? We are addicted to Sugar and we don’t even know it, it’s simply a part of our lives, and our lives now at a time we are more technologically advanced in medicine we are also the sickest with the widest range of disease.

Could we remove sugar from our childrens life? How about our own?…. Scary huh.

There are a couple options to watch Fed Up. Here is the link to the trailer, please check it out. Netflix, Amazon, Theaters are offering it. A must watch.
