What kind of equipment do you have at your disposal?

DBs, pull-up bar, treadmill, jump rope, one band.  I have a set of low rings that hang from a pull-up bar in the garage.  New weight vest.

Where is your ‘Home-Gym’’ located (garage, living room, front lawn, driveway)?

Basement and garage 

What has been your biggest hurdle working out from home thus far?

My new schedule at work has been an adjustment.  I love working out in the morning.  My new schedule at work has me leaving the house at 7 am.  So trying to workout after a long crazy work day has been my biggest challenge. 

What do you enjoy the most about working out from home?

I love the zoom classes. I like that I can do a WOD with my son upstairs and not have to leave the house.  

Do you workout at the same time everyday (follow a strict routine) or workout whenever you feel like it (at random)?

On my day off, I always do an 8:30 AM WOD.  On work days, I try for after work at like 6pm, but it’s definitely harder for me mentally and energy wise.  

How do you find the motivation to workout from home?

I feel better on the days that I move so I try to think of how good I will feel after.  Coach Chloe has really given me some great motivation as well through emails and calls.  

If you could add one piece of equipment to your home-gym setup, what would it be?

Kettlebell and a box.  

Any advice to those thinking about getting started working out at home, but haven’t made the commitment yet?

It’s definitely easy to modify any WOD to what you have available.  And as long as you are moving your body, I think that’s the most important thing.
