PLEASE READ CAREFULLY – Details on how we plan to keep it safe with a phased reopening of CrossFit Magnitude.

How Does Covid-19 Spread?

The virus is thought to spread mainly from person-to-person.

Between people who are in close contact with one another (within about 6 feet).

Through respiratory droplets produced when an infected person coughs, sneezes or talks.

These droplets can land in the mouths or noses of people who are nearby or possibly be inhaled into the lungs.

What Signs Should I Be Aware of While Monitoring My Health Regularly?

Always be alert for signs and symptoms of Covid-19. Watch for:

Fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, or diarrhea.

*This list does not include all possible symptoms. CDC will continue to update this list as we learn more about COVID-19.

If you have a fever, cough or other symptoms, you might have COVID-19. Most people have mild illness and are able to recover at home. If you think you may have been exposed to COVID-19, contact your healthcare provider.

Keep track of your symptoms.

If you have an emergency warning sign (including trouble breathing), get emergency medical care immediately.

How Can I Help Prevent the Spread of Covid-19?

Many of the things you do to help prevent colds and the flu can help protect you against other respiratory viruses, including COVID-19:

    • Wash your hands often with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds.
    • Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.
    • Cover your mouth when you cough or sneeze. Use a tissue or your inner elbow, not your hands.
    • Stay home if you are sick.

How Are You Planning to Keep CrossFit Magnitude Clean?

Our cleaning/disinfectants that we use at CrossFit Magnitude are hospital grade, and can be safely used to clean and disinfect against the Corona virus

ALL Members attending class will be required to clean and disinfect all equipment used during their workout.

The CFM staff will conduct DAILY cleaning and disinfecting of all high touch areas including, but not limited to, door knobs, faucets, keyboards, light switches, countertops, remote controls, etc…

Am I at High Risk?

Those at high risk of covid-9 are:

People 65 years and older

People who live in a nursing home or long-term care facility

People of all ages with underlying medical conditions, particularly if not well controlled, including:

People with chronic lung disease or moderate to severe asthma

People who have serious heart conditions

People who are immunocompromised

Many conditions can cause a person to be immunocompromised, including cancer treatment, smoking, bone marrow or organ transplantation, immune deficiencies, poorly controlled HIV or AIDS, and prolonged use of corticosteroids and other immune weakening medications

People with severe obesity (body mass index [BMI] of 40 or higher)

People with diabetes

People with chronic kidney disease undergoing dialysis

People with liver disease

If you are Pregnant

Although there are currently no data showing that COVID-19 affects pregnant people differently than others, the CDC does know that pregnant people are at greater risk of getting sick from other respiratory viruses than people who are not pregnant. Sometimes, this causes adverse outcomes for the mother or child. Therefore, if you are pregnant, be mindful about reducing your risk of getting sick.

Can I be Around Others After I Have Had or Likely Had COVID-19?

I think or know I had COVID-19, and I had symptoms

You can be with others after

    • 3 days with no fever and
    • Symptoms improved and
    • 10 days since symptoms first appeared

I tested positive for COVID-19 but had no symptoms

If you continue to have no symptoms, you can be with others after:

    • 10 days have passed since test

If you develop symptoms after testing positive, follow the guidance above for “I think or know I had COVID, and I had symptoms.”

I have a weakened immune system (immunocompromised) due to a health condition or medication. When can I be around others?

People with conditions that weaken their immune system might need to stay home longer than 10 days. Talk to your healthcare provider for more information. If testing is available in your community, it may be recommended by your healthcare provider. You can be with others after you receive two negative test results in a row, at least 24 hours apart.

Have You Been Around a Person with COVID-19?

It is important to remember that anyone who has close contact with someone with COVID-19 should stay home for 14 days after exposure based on the time it takes to develop illness.
