It’s Go Time!

The Whole Life Challenge is now HERE!   I hope everyone has dumped out all of their  “Off Limits”  foods and stocked their  shelves with all natural goodness.  Remember, you have until 3pm daily to input your daily data into the system and receive your days points.  This is suppose to be more of a game, not just rules for you to follow so try to have fun and understand you are scoring your life, not just your WOD’s now.  We are trying to encourage a change in behavior rather than mandating perfect behavior.   The challenge is designed to bring light to the everyday choices we all must make as participants in life.   By looking at the consequences of a choice (losing a point), it becomes very clear that EVERY choice you make has an impact -most not being that clear cut (Is the joy, happiness and stress reduction I experience when I eat a bowl of ice cream more important or life sustaining than the negative impact on my blood sugar levels and insulin production?).  Although we have  points and bonus points as part of the challenge, neither they, nor their implication, are more important than your awareness of your choices and their effect on your life.

As Judge, Jury and Executioner of this challenge, I am adding an addendum to the Food List.  As there is no Dairy allowed except butter, you WILL BE ALLOWED to have a Whey protein powder supplement IF it has 5 or less ingredients in it and DOES NOT HAVE artificial flavors, growth hormones, artificial sweeteners, and also is lactose free, and gluten free.

We will be announcing our first Weekly Challenge in a few days.  Those who complete it will be entered into a drawing for a prize held every Tuesday morning.

5×2 – 1 BB forward  lunge + 1 BB reverse lunge (racked on shoulders) (heaviest possible)

Conditioning

4 rounds for a total time of:

10 med ball clean wall balls

5 overhead walking lunge steps

30 kb swings

5 overhead walking lunge steps

10 med ball clean wall balls

Rest 60 seconds between each round

Rx – 20/14, 52/36,45/25

Lv2 – 14/10, 44/25, 25/15

Lv1 – 12/8, 36/20, 15/5
