But that is not the point of the CrossFit Open. It is not only about comparing yourself to other athletes. It is a chance that happens once a year for you to test yourself, and see where your fitness is at.

There is something about having a judge in your face and your friends cheering you on that makes you go faster, or lift more, or move better. You can’t get that motivation from a regular day in the gym.
