Great job everyone beating the heat!  No heat casualties here.  Looks like it’s going to cool off for a few good days.   Just another reminder, we will be short staffed this coming week as I have to attend to best friend duties as best man in Jamaican style wedding – Not trying to rub it in – I mean, who really want’s to leave beautiful New England in the summer for a place as hot as the Sahara.  I’d really prefer to be right here with all of you!   Any how, class will go on, but will probably fill up fast so make sure to plan out your week in advance so you can all secure a spot.   We will be allowing larger class sizes due to the limited scheduling.

Speaking of going away though, this is vacation time for a lot of you as some may go to summer homes, others off on a road trip adventure, and some to somewhere far, far away.   Regardless of where you go, you can always bring CrossFit with you.  That is really the beauty and allure of this stuff.  As you already know, there are so many variations of what we do with so many implementations, that your options are endless and only limited by your creativity and imagination.  Use what ever is at arms reach, even if it is only body weight  and don’t forget to keep that good form in check.  Grab a stop watch and 321…GO!

kb sumo dead lift high pull

*This has the same format as Fight Gone Bad. In this workout you move from each of five stations after a minute. This is a five-minute round from which a one-minute break is allowed before repeating. The clock does not reset or stop between exercises. On call of “rotate,” the athlete/s must move to next station immediately for good score. One point is given for each rep.
