Just want to take a moment and share some take aways from yesterdays Competition at CF 781. On a personal note and I speak for Chris, Hunter, Jami and Harry I know… We are so proud to see our CFM Athletes throwing their hats in the ring, knowing all of whom had never or just once competed in a CF comp, and what a time we had! From a Coaches perspective, to be on the sideline watching our team (as Individuals) walking on the floor with smiles and spirit and at 3-2-1-go giving their all and fighting outside their comfort zones is one of the best feelings afforded to us. It happens each day at the Box when someone scales up, or gets a PR, hits that first pull up…etc. and it gets compounded when we can take what we learn and what we achieve, and share it with the larger community around us. The Final standings mean little to us…”How much fun did they have?” is first, “How much experience did we gain and was it positive?” is next, and lets be honest…”How did we move?!?” is what we care about LOL!! And boy did the Magnitude Team move well, each one of them hit the workouts with poise and control, met the standards like Pros and like we talk about each day. Fast elbows, deep wall balls, flat backs, standing tall on the boxes….Again, as a Coach there is no greater feeling knowing what we do at the Box and how we do it is working. Watching strong efficient movement, holding our own and seeing big gleaming smiles will warm any Coaches heart. So thank you Kim V, Jenn R, Amanda C, Jen Rd, Ian L, Chad S, Ryan W, Jon s, Brian and Brendan K for moving well, performing like Champs, having a blast, smiling proud…and lastly, in the spirit of competition walking over to the Athletes in your heats and offering support and high fives as they finished their WODS. You all made us proud, Thank you, can’t wait for the next one.
