How long have you been a member at CFM? 4 years

How often do you CrossFit? 3-4 times per week

Do you remember your first WOD? Looking back, how did it go?  I have know idea what the WOD was but I remember thinking “what have I gotten myself into?”

What is/are your favorite movement(s) to perform? Push Press and Bench Press

What has been your biggest challenge to overcome so far?  The biggest challenge for me has been double under.  I can do them but I still hate them!

What sort of changes to your body, health & fitness have you seen since starting CrossFit? Definitely stronger

What has been your biggest achievement thus far, and what do you believe has been critical to its success?  Being able to do RX WODs and getting my name on the board.

What do you hope to achieve in the next 6 months, and how do you plan to get there? In the next 6 months I hope to get better at strict pull ups. 

Now that you’ve been CrossFitting for some time, are there any misconceptions you may have initially had coming into CrossFit that you now disagree with? That there is more to it than just lifting heavy weights.

Any advice to new members getting started?  Don’t get frustrated with the workouts. It could take years to learn certain movements.  Enjoy the CF community!

What are your hobbies outside of the CrossFit box?  Running, Skiing.

Tell us something most people do not know about you? I was seconds over the Boston Marathon finish line on April 15, 2013 (day of marathon bombings).
