I know I have discussed this topic before, but it is worth mentioning again – Learn how to squat, and learn how to do it good!

“Regardless of what the problem is, the answer is to squat.”

Those are the words of CrossFit founder Greg Glassman.

“People who do not know how to squat do not have normal hip function, they don’t have normal leg function,”  “They can’t jump, run, throw or punch correctly.”

Squatting is the most fundamental movement we teach in CrossFit.  It is the first brick we lay, in an attempt to build a solid superstructure above it.  And if your foundation is off level and un-square , everything else you build on top of it will be in jeopardy!

If you are just starting out, take your time with this movement and make it a strong point.
