Hey all! we got a new class starting this sunday @ 8am. It is a mobility and movement class.

 

Mobility….a word you most likely have heard here at CF Magnitude. But it is more than some fancy fitness vocab your coach is throwing at you.

 

Or is it?

 

The CrossFit world has tricked us into thinking stretching is important…turns out that is not really the case.

 

What is important is POSITION! What position are you in when you are squatting, or pushing something over your head? Where are your feet? Where do your knees go? Not just with a barbell on your back, but when you pick up your kid, or are working in the yard.

 

Position matters.

 

How you move matters.

 

Mobility is simply a set of tools to get you there.

 

While people are born with this incredible machine, they aren’t born with the right software to run that machine. We think this is an issue. This mobility class is designed to help you hack your body’s mechanics and provide the tools to perform basic maintenance on yourself.

Like brushing your teeth, we think this is something you should be doing every single day! That is how important this is. But understandably, it may look strange to your coworkers to see you rolling around on a lacrosse ball while checking your emails at the office.

So pony up, and join us Sunday. Your body will thank you for it.
