Monday 141222 WOD
Strength
Today is the start of our second cycle using the Wendler protocol. Add 10# to your base weight and use this new number for the next 4 weeks.
Back squat –
Warmup sets: 5@40%, 5@50%, 3@60%
Work sets: 5@65%, 5@75%, 5 or more @ 85%
Rest at least 2 minutes in between sets
Conditioning
In 12 minutes, complete as many rounds as possible of:
12 wall ball 20/14#
12 box jump 24/20″
24 double under

Strength
Push press – 4×5 (heaviest possible across all sets)
Rest at least 2 minutes in between sets
Conditioning
Complete 7 rounds of 1 minute on, 30 seconds off, completing max effort reps for the two movements below:

Conditioning
“12 Days of Christmas”
Like the song the “12 Days of Christmas”, complete each exercise in ascending order then work back down, adding one exercise per round.
Ex. On the 1st day of Christmas, my coaches gave to me, one Sumo Deadlift High Pull; on the 2nd day of Christmas my coaches gave to me, 2 Thrusters and 1 SDHP; on the 3rd day of Christmas, my coaches gave to me, 3 Push Press, 2 Thrusters, and 1 SDHP; continue with 4 Power Cleans, 3, 2, 1 etc.
For Time:
1 – Sumo Deadlift High Pull (75#/55#)
2 – Thrusters (75#/55#)
3 – Push Press (75#/55#)
4 – Power Cleans (75#/55#)
5 – Goblet Squats – 24/16k
